Over 20 delegates attended Chess’ annual Supplier Day, from 11 different suppliers including component manufacturers, milling experts and finishing providers.

The visit gave suppliers the chance to see first-hand how the products and services they provide are integrated into world-class defence technology systems.

Delegates also had a first look at Chess’ new manufacturing unit, which will provide increased manufacturing capacity from its Horsham site. The expanded site is a result of business growth over the past 12 months, and forms a significant part of the business’s future growth plans – enabling Chess to deliver a greater number of contracts and hire more specialist engineers.
